On Tuesday, February 12, Lumen gratefully accepted $2000.00 in grants from the Webster Foundation. The grants provide us with the flexibility and opportunity to purchase classroom items that directly impact student learning. We will also use the grants to help fund meaningful student generated projects that otherwise may not be developed due to financial constraints. The grant will help fund field trips that will provide our students with valuable learning opportunities beyond what we can offer in the classroom. In addition, a new media production computer will be purchased. We are so very grateful to the Webster Foundation for their generosity. The Webster Foundation Grant will help Lumen Charter High School continue to foster and develop a dynamic learning environment with unique opportunities for students!
