WKCE Testing Schedule

There will be special schedules to accommodate the sophomore state testing (WKCE) on the next three consecutive Tuesdays: October 29, November 5, and November 12. Freshmen and Sophomores should report to school at the usual starting time of 7:50 A.M. for special programming and/or testing. Juniors and seniors have the opportunity for special programming designed for them as well. Regular classes will begin at 10:30 A.M. on each of these days.  Following you will find details for those days for those days.

 

2013 Career, Testing, and Post-Secondary Program

Day One: Tuesday, October 29
Freshmen – Report to Advisory at 7:50 A.M.
Four-Year college program in auditorium with representatives from
UW-Fond du Lac and Ripon College (8:00 – 9:00)
Return to Advisory: Four-year HS plan; Intro. to course request process

Sophomores – WKCE day one from 7:50 – 10:25 A.M.

Juniors and Seniors
Four-Year college program  in HS auditorium with representatives from
UW-Fond du Lac and Ripon College (9:15 – 10:15)
Accuplacer to interested students (sign up by noon on October 18)
Administered by MPTC in the HS media center starting at 7:20 A.M.
ASVAB to interested students (sign up by noon on October 18)
Proctored by the US Military at no cost in room 167 starting at 7:20 A.M.
1st hour class begins at 10:30 A.M.

 

Day Two: Tuesday, November 5
Freshmen – Report to Advisory at 7:50 A.M.
Two-Year college program in auditorium (8:15 – 9:00)
Return to Advisory: EXPLORE Interest Inventory

Sophomores – WKCE day two from 7:50 – 10:25 A.M.

Juniors, Seniors, and parents – Practice ACT to interested students ($23 per student – sign up & pay by noon on October 30) Proctored by RHS staff in room 167 starting at 7:30 A.M. FVTC program in HS auditorium from 9:30 – 10:15 A.M.

1st hour class begins at 10:30 A.M.

Day Three: Tuesday, November 12
Freshmen – Report to Advisory at 7:50 for EXPLORE test (pre-ACT exam) from 7:50 – 10:25 A.M.

Sophomores – WKCE day three from 7:50 – 10:25 A.M.

Juniors, Seniors, and parents – Ripon College visit
Interested students (and parents) should sign up for this trip by noon on November 4. The bus will leave at 8:00 A.M. from the front lobby entrance and return to the high school around 10:15 A.M. Parent permission is required.

1st hour class begins at 10:30 A.M.
