There has been a tremendous community outpouring of support for the victims of the Watson Street Fire. Lumen students also wanted to be able to contribute to this support. On Tuesday, December 17, a group of 13 Lumen students and 2 staff members were happy to volunteer their time to clean a house that had been found for one of the families that fell victim to that fire. The house had been on the market for two years and the owner has generously agreed to rent the house to the family at an affordable rate. If all falls into place, the family could end up buying the house! All involved were happy to help- it was a rewarding experience.
