Tools for Activists Seminar – Guest Speaker
On Thursday, April 9, 2015 Tim Lyke came in to talk with us about how to write effective press releases, and how to help the RCP achieve its goal of giving the community’s readers important news that they need to hear about. He also helped us hone our “sound bites” — short statements that explain our work and express our passion for it.
In one picture Tim is making grammar corrections to our press release and in the other he is working with the class.

Pizza and Sub Fundraiser
We are wrapping up our Pizza and Sub Fundraiser. Ask friends, family and neighbors to support the students of Lumen Charter High. All the money raised goes directly to benefit the students for projects, speakers for seminars and and field trips to name a few. Money for the pizzas and subs is due by Friday April 10, 2015. You are given vouchers to take to the Ripon Pick-N-Save to pick up your pizzas and subs from the deli.
