Students are looking at the history of unions and labor struggles and dicovering how that relates to the labor issues of today.  Interactive learning is happening through debates and negotiation simulations.

Students are learning what American life was like during the late 1800’s.  They have begun creating a children’s book about America’s Westward expansion.

Brother, Can You Spare A Dime?

Students are exploring the stock market crash and its causes in order to better understand what led to the Great Depression.  They are reading the American Classic Of Mice and Men, which reflects a troubled and struggling America during the 1930’s.
