On Monday, we had team building time as we transition to the next round of seminars. We spent time preparing for Lumen Showcase Night and played Blindfold Dodgeball with puff balls. Students had to give directions to those who were blindfolded. It was a group effort that took planning, strategy, and clear precise communication with each other. Here are some pictures of the fun!

Our Lumen Showcase Night will be February 29, 2016 from 5:45- 7:15 p.m. Mark your calendars!
Students in Lumen Biology will be taking a field trip to the Shedd Aquarium on Wednesday, March 2, 2016. The trip will include a tour of the Amphibians, Oceanarium, Wild Reef Exhibits, Aquarium Galleries, Aquatic Show and Sea Monsters Experience. Students will also be participating in a 90 minute hands on learning lab.
We will be leaving from the Lumen Charter High School at 6:30 a.m. and returning at approximately 6:30 p.m. Students who normally take the bus will need to make special arrangements to get to/from school that day. Permission slips have been sent home with the students. The deadline to turn in the permission slip is Wednesday, February 17, 2016.
